The Hollywood Toi Foundation was established following the 2014 Arabian Youth National Championships in honor of PAF Hollywood Toi (2003-2014), the National Champion Half-Arabian Saddle Seat Equitation horse. Co-chaired by Jenny Lau and Emme Moore, both of whom were fortunate to have Hollywood as part of their show careers, the Foundation was created not only to honor his remarkable legacy but also to give back to the Arabian horse community that showed overwhelming support during a deeply difficult time. Hollywood’s passing during the H/A Saddle Seat Equitation Championship class marked a profound moment for many, but what followed was even more powerful: a wave of compassion, unity, and strength from across the industry.

That outpouring of love reminded Jenny and Emme just how special the Arabian horse community is. The Hollywood Toi Foundation was born from a desire to carry that spirit forward. Today, the Foundation serves as a platform for a range of equine-focused initiatives that promote sportsmanship, education, and the future of the industry.

A central focus of the Foundation is its Youth Nationals Sponsorship Program, which awards $2,000 sponsorships to deserving youth riders so they can compete at Nationals. The Foundation believes that youth riders represent the future of the Arabian horse industry. By helping more young people participate, we create more opportunities for growth, connection, and long-term success across the sport.

The Foundation also celebrates riders who embody the values that defined Hollywood’s legacy: dedication, perseverance, teamwork, and grace. Each year, the Hollywood Toi Memorial Trophy and College Scholarships are awarded in the Half-Arabian and Purebred Saddle Seat Equitation Championship classes at Youth Nationals. These college scholarships recognize not only competitive excellence but also the character and work ethic required to succeed in the equitation arena and in life.
